The third and final Chartered Accountants Student Challenge begins today, and we're asking you to solve a business problem for the Australian Conservation Foundation.
This time we’re focusing on a critical issue that every charitable organisation faces in these current times, and it’s your chance to help.
The experience of many charities, including ACF, is that in times of economic downturn donor support, can reduce significantly as household discretionary income decreases.
Your Challenge:
'Develop strategies to minimise the potential impacts of any economic downturn on the Australian Conservation Foundation’s organisation and activities.'
If you think you've got what it takes to investigate, evaluate and propose real solutions for their business, you have until 11.59pm (AEST) Sunday, 8 June 2008 to submit your response.
Who?
All university students in Australia can enter the challenge.
What?
You'll need to give us a synopsis, with a video or document (Word, Powerpoint, PDF or other). Before the judging begins, there will be a two-week discussion period during which you can rate each other's ideas and make comments.
How?
You can get together with friends to form groups of up to four, or go it alone.
When?
You have two weeks to submit your solutions. That is, until 11.59pm (AEST) on Sunday, 8 June.
