The management and staff of the Institute wish you a merry Christmas and happy New Year. The Institute's offices will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2008 and will re-open on Monday, 5 January 2009.

Even with the Redbull Air Race final being held down the road on the Swan River, the Institute Netball & Basketball Carnival attracted a large crowd at the UWA Recreation Centre with 38 teams participating.

Business Leadership now has an address

Business-leader.tv is a new communication channel designed by the Institute to provide a platform for its business leader series, which will explore key issues in accounting and business and their impacts in the global economic climate.

Liability capping reporting requirements

In November, the Institute wrote to all CPP holders, requesting that they supply insurance and claims data. Some firms have still not provided this information, which is a legislative requirement for the liability capping schemes.
