The Public Practice Panel represents Institute members in Victoria who are practitioners in firms other than the Big 4 accounting practices. The firms range in size from 22 large firms to about 600 firms with one to five partners. 
 
The issues which the Panel covers include Training and Development, graduate recruitment, marketing the sector, advisory issues, branding and re-engineering of practices. These issues are directly forwarded to the Victorian Regional Council and/or the National Board via the Public Practice Advisory Committee.
