Certificate Presentation Ceremonies

The Institute of Chartered Accountants are delighted to host special events to celebrate the achievements of both members and Chartered Accountants Program candidates. 
 
Please find below details of the next event offered in your region. 
 
Australian Capital Territory 
A celebration is held annually in Canberra for:

  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
The next ceremony will be held on 15th October 2009. 
 
To be eligible for this event, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by August 2008.

New South Wales 
A celebration is held tri-annually in Sydney for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and 
  • recent Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
The next ceremony will be held in March 2010.  
 
To be eligible for the March ceremony, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have been accepted into membership between November 2009 and January 2010. 
 
Invitations will be sent to all eligible parties in February 2010.

Northern Territory 
A celebration is held annually in Darwin for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.

Celebrations are held bi-annually in Brisbane and annually in regional Queensland for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and 
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.

To be eligible for the next ceremony presentation in Brisbane, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by the end of January 2010.  
 
Invitations will be sent to all elligible parties.

South Australia 
A Presentation of Certificates Ceremony is held annually in Adelaide for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
The next ceremony will be held on 9th December 2009. 
 
To be eligible for this event, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by 30 November 2009.

Tasmania 
Celebrations are held annually in Hobart (in November) and Launceston (in February) for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute; 
  • Current members of the Institute; 
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and

The next event will be held in Hobart on Thursday, 11 November 2010. Invitations will be sent out in September/October 2010.

A celebration is held bi-annually in Melbourne for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute; and  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute.
To be eligible for the next event on Wednesday, 23 June 2010, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have been admitted into membership by Monday, 31 May 2010.
