Certificate Presentation Ceremonies

The Institute of Chartered Accountants are delighted to host special events to celebrate the achievements of both members and Chartered Accountants Program candidates. 
 
Please find below details of the next event offered in your region. 
 
Australian Capital Territory 
A celebration is held annually in Canberra for:

  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
To be eligible for the next event in October 2008, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by August 2008. For further information please contact Event Delivery ACT 
 
New South Wales 
A celebration is held tri-annually in Sydney for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and 
  • recent Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
 
The remaining dates for the 2008 Ceremonies are: 
29th July 2008 
27th November 2008 
 
To be eligible for the July ceremony, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by the end of June 2008. For further information please contact Event Delivery NSW 
 
Northern Territory 
A celebration is held annually in Darwin for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.

Queensland 
A celebration is held bi-annually in Brisbane for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and 
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
Ceremonies are held in regional Queensland on an annual basis and next scheduled events are planned for July 2008. 
 
Dates and locations for the next Certificate Presentations are: 
 
Brisbane - Wednesday 30 July 2008 
Townsville - Thursday 31 July 2008 
Cairns - Friday 1 August 2008 
 
To be eligible for these next events, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by mid-June 2008.

South Australia 
A Presentation of Certificates Ceremony is held annually in Adelaide for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
To be eligible for the next event on 10 December 2008, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by 30 November 2008. For further information please contact Event Delivery SA 
 
Tasmania 
Celebrations are held annually in Hobart (in November) and Launceston (in February) for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute; 
  • Current members of the Institute; 
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and  
  • Chartered Accountants Program Merit Award recipients.
 
The next event will be held in Hobart on Saturday 8 November at Moorilla Estate. Invitations will be sent out in September.

Victoria 
A celebration is held bi-annually in Melbourne for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute; and  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute.
To be eligible for the next event on 18 November 2008, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have been admitted into membership by the end of October 2008. 
 
Chartered Accountants Program merit recipients are invited to a tri-annual Merit Presentation Evening. The next event will be held on 20 August 2008 and will include merit recipients from EBA307, AAA108 & MAA108.

Western Australia 
A celebration is held annually in Perth for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute; and 
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute.
To be eligible for the next event in February 2009, Chartered Accountants Program graduates will need to have joined membership by the end of December 2008. 
 
A celebration is held twice per year in Perth for:
  • Candidates that have completed the Chartered Accountants Program and are ready to apply for membership; and  
  • Candidates receiving merit awards.

Malaysia 
A celebration is held annually for:
  • New members who have recently joined the Institute;  
  • Members who have been invited to become Fellows of the Institute; and
