This year, the touch football and netball carnival was held on Sunday, 13 July 2008. The week leading up to the carnival the weather didn't look very promising with pouring rain. But on the actual day there wasn't a rain drop in sight and the sun was shining. 
 
This year nine touch football and 13 netball teams participated in the carnival 
 
No-one would have gone hungry as each company had either their food catered or a BBQ. There was even a van on site laden with hotdogs and donuts to entice everyone to keep eating through the day! 
 
This year there were no semi finals, just the top two teams sweating it out in the grand final to be crowned the stars this year. 
 
Lecornu Lewis Hancock defeated PWC Blue on the netball court and Ernst & Young 1 defeated Edwards Marshall on the Touch Football field. 
 
Families were encouraged to come along and join in the fun. Children were catered for with an animal farm and a face painter. 
 
Congratulations to the winners, and a thank you to all the players, family and friends and Immanuel College who supported the day and made it a wonderful success.
