Describe your job position?
I work for KPMG in the "Financial Management and Business Advisory" group. I do a variety of work with a variety of clients. Currently, I am helping perform the whole of Government Consolidation at the Department of Finance and Deregulation. This is a big job which takes several months but it is interesting dealing with billions of dollars. It took me a while to register that is nine zeros! I also do a lot of financial viability work where small non-for profit organisations are applying for government funding. I come in and assess the organisations viability. Other work includes costing jobs and the preparations of financial statements. Although it sounds a little dry, changing clients and jobs regularly mixes things up and keeps you on your toes!

What do you like about your job?
The people I work with are great. We party just as hard as we work and I have become great friends with several of my colleagues. I like that I do not spend every day at the same desk working on the same jobs, variety as an accountant is a must.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I play a lot of sport - soccer, oztag, recreational AFL, cycle and martial arts. I also don't mind a bit of a shop and eating out.

When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be?
I don't think I ever wanted to grow up! But as a youngster I was into gymnastics so I think a professional gymnast. I surely was not thinking of becoming an accountant.

Favourite movie?
There are too many, but probably the Shawshank Redemption and a TV movie that was on years and years ago with Nicole Kidman I think, called Bangkok Hilton. But then there are the classics like Dirty Dancing which I could not leave out.
