More information

Enhancing audit quality – it’s a journey, not a destination, and one that the Institute’s audit team continues to focus on. The topic is front of mind not only at the Institute; it is receiving a great deal of attention internationally and elsewhere within Australia, via federal Treasury, standard setters and regulators. The Institute actively supports initiatives that uphold financial integrity, and advocates enhancements to audit quality without regulatory overload.

The Institute is committed to providing training and tools that will help you develop processes and procedures that enhance audit quality in your firm. Collectively we are currently bedding down the transition to the Clarity Auditing Standards, and have in place a comprehensive suite of tools, such as the Audit Manual and Toolkit and the Audit Guide for SMSFs with related Toolkit, as well as comprehensive training offerings. Of course these are supplemented by the Institute’s regular technical updates and other newsletters to keep you informed.

The Audit Conferences are must-attend events. You will learn from technical experts in the audit profession as well as practitioners whose experiences will contribute greatly to and benefit your understanding and use of audit standards.

We look forward to seeing you there.
