The Institute is currently awaiting the formal approval by the PSC of the schemes. The PSC has set out the following steps in its timetable for approval:

• Council approves notification
• Review by Crown Solicitor
• Scheme notified with 28 days for comment
• Submissions received
• Further information may be required as a result of submissions
• Council considers further information
• Council approves scheme
• Scheme is published in Gazette
• Scheme commences 2 months after publication
• On the basis of this process, the schemes are likely to commence in October 2007.
