The Speakers Program is an opportunity for your young Chartered Accountants, and future Chartered Accountants, to improve their presentation skills and promote a career in accounting to high school and university students.

How it works
Chartered Accounting staff – or those completing the Chartered Accountants Program – talk to university and high school students about what life as a Chartered Accountant is really like for them – the challenges, benefits and rewards.

Each volunteer speaker attends professional presentation and content training from the Institute and is supplied with materials, presentation notes and a briefing on their audience.

This is a unique opportunity to up-skill your employees in an area that is beneficial to your workplace.

Benefits for your organisation

  • A chance to create a personal connection with students who are potential recruits
  •
  • A powerful, simple way to raise the profile of your graduate recruitment program and organisation
  •
  • Assistance with developing the communication and presentation skills in your young staff
  •
  • An opportunity to feature a profile of your employee on Meet some Chartered Accountants.

Your involvement
To participate in the Chartered Accountants Speakers Program 2009 all you need to do is:
  • Nominate suitable candidates who will be a representative of your organisation
  •
  • Allow time for employees to make a small number of presentations during the year.

Having Chartered Accountants address students, especially at their former university or high school, has proven to be an effective way to communicate the Institute’s brand and career messages.
