The Institute of Chartered Accountants graduate diploma status remains exclusive to the Chartered Accountants Program following reaccreditation by the State Education Department. In the process of reaccreditation the Institute has, for the first time, also attained the status of higher education provider. National accreditation will be finalised by early next year.

Candidates completing the Chartered Accountants Program gain the qualification of Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. This provides graduates with a strong basis on which to specialise post qualifying via exemptions in over 60 Masters programs around Australia.

The Institute’s program was originally accredited in 2001 and remains the only professional accounting program with this status.

“The accreditation is an independent external benchmark endorsing the rigour of our program and the relevance to members,” said Sheena Frenkel, General Manager Chartered Accountants Program and Admissions, Institute of Chartered Accountants In Australia. “It is testament to the quality of the program’s content and delivery.”
