Chartered Accountants' number one ad campaign

The Institute of Chartered Accountant’s ‘Rocket’ television commercial, which featured as part of their ‘Number One In Numbers’ brand campaign, has been recognised as the best ad on television worldwide last week, as chosen by the advertising industry.  
 
The advertisement, which depicts a rocket that is unable to take-off due to the complete absence of numbers, as needed for a countdown, was produced by marketing agency Euro RSCG for the Institute as part of the second phase of their brand campaign. The advert reinforces the importance of numbers in our society, as part of a broader promotion differentiating Chartered Accountants as the ‘Number One in Numbers’. The timeliness of the advert, to coincide with the landing of the Discovery space shuttle, serves to add to its quirkiness and humour.  
 
The Institute’s Marketing Manager, Marie Campion, said the Institute was excited by the positive attention the campaign was receiving and believed the award was a fantastic accolade.
