The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is looking for content reviewers to help assess a General Accounting Guide for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The guide topically discusses IFRS and its application, using examples in a manufacturing environment. The guide has been designed to be used by financial statement preparers and practitioners globally.

AICPA is looking for content reviewers globally, who would be able to provide input into the real-world manufacturing specific guidance and examples. Volunteers must be able to offer:

  • Guidance that provides an understanding of IFRS, with no jurisdictional variations
  • Participate via electronic correspondence, there will be no personal meetings
  • Commit to specific timeframe and deadlines in advance
  • Read and write in English as a first or second language
  • Comply with a confidentiality request.
Interested participants are encouraged to email Dan Nicol, Director Accounting Standards at the AICPA at dnoll@aicpa.org.
