Our key activity is related to Business Strategy, Information Strategy and Finance Strategy. CIMA members are not trained in audit.

CIMA in Australia has over 1800 members and students. We have a strong and vibrant strategic alliance with the ICAA, with significant cross membership and many joint activities. Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (the Institute) enjoy significant exemptions from the CIMA syllabus.  
 
CIMA Students use the Institute Library, with CIMA Members often invited to Insitute Member-only events. The Insitute encourages its Chartered Accountants Program graduates to become Student members of CIMA if their career is directed towards Management Accounting.
