Q: Why has it changed?

A: Over time, the services provided by Chartered Accountants have grown and the need for the general public to be able to locate members with particular areas of expertise has increased.

The Find a Chartered Accountant service has been expanded to incorporate a large number of new categories and to enable members to list as individuals rather than within companies. Individuals hold the relevant qualifications and expertise to be listed, rather than the firm as a whole. By listing an individual we identify the specific person within a firm with the desired skills and knowledge.

Members are now able to register and maintain their registration themselves, giving them greater ownership of the promotion of their services and the information provided.

The changes have resulted in improved usability for both the member and the general public and enable users to search by a state, regions, suburb, postcode, enabling easier search and greater return of results
