Q: The Institute states that the Chartered Accountants Program and Candidate Learning Pack are stand alone and do not require supplementary material. By providing this program aren’t you saying that candidates require additional support?

A: The Institute believes that the Chartered Accountants Program is stand alone and does not require supplementary material to the Candidate Learning Pack (CLP). Candidate’s learning styles can vary and these hands on tutorial sessions ensure that all candidates have powerful and practical support. The CPD is about assisting candidates to practically apply the material they already have as part of the CLP. Additional readings and material are not the core of this program.

Q: How is this program different from other competitors in the market?

A: The Institute’s CDP is a very practical, hands on program. The aim is to apply the content from the CLP to real life work examples. The sessions are able to be tailored to the clients needs and are not based around pages of supplementary information that the candidates need to read. Sessions are delivered during work hours predominately so additional time strains are not put on the participants.

Q: Can this program be delivered for members in commerce?

Q: My firm isn’t large enough to have this training delivered in-house. What other options are there?

A: The Training Community model can be used where smaller firms/businesses can group together to share the training costs. To find out more about this service please contact your local Business Manager.

Q: It seems expensive?

A: The pricing for the program is by session, not by participant. On average our research showed that firms are paying approximately $800 per candidate per module for other market products. The Institutes’ program can cost as little as $325 per candidate for the standard package. The structure of the program can be tailored to suit your firm’s budget and in turn potentially cost much less per participant.

Q: Can I have only part of the overall program?

A: Yes you may select as many of the seven potential sessions as you like. For example you may feel your staff only require 2 or the 4 facilitated sessions. Your local Business Manager can assist you in developing the most suitable CDP structure for your team.
