What happens if they are not a member? 
 
Q: I am an employer/recruiter, how do I do a qualification check on one of our employment candidates? 
 
A: You can check that someone is a current member of the Institute, or is enrolled into the Chartered Accountants Program, by contacting our National Customer Service Centre via service@charteredaccountants.com.au. You will need to provide the full name of the individual and their date of birth as well as any other information you have so we can ensure verification is accurate.

Q: What happens if they are not a member? 
 
A: If they are not a current member of the Institute, they may be a member of CPA Australia or the National Institute of Accountants so you should contact those professional bodies to check with them.
