Cadetship

Employing a cadet is a great way to attract the best young minds to your organisation, and the Institute can help you do this.

Chartered Accountants Cadetship Evening

The Chartered Accountants Cadetship Evening is a simple, cost-effective way to promote your organisation and cadetship program to the best secondary school students in the state. You meet cadetship candidates who have already indicated their interest in accounting.

Benefits for your organisation:

  • You can attract quality candidates to your organisation earlier in their academic career

  • You meet students face-to-face, answering – and asking – the important questions and getting to know potential recruits before they graduate

  • You increase your profile among high school students

  • You can take advantage of this cost-efficient opportunity to complement your other marketing activities.

You get:

  • Your logo on promotional collateral

  • Exhibition space at the event

  • Acknowledgement in relevant national public relations campaigns

  • Inclusion in the employers’ section of the national Chartered Accountants Employment Guide. The Guide is a popular and comprehensive list of all employers offering positions for students, including cadetships.

  • Inclusion in The Institute e-bulletin (a fortnightly publication to members).

Your involvement:

To participate in the Cadetship Evening all you need to do is:

  • Offer at least one cadetship position with a start date in 2011

  • Pay a participation fee, which covers venue costs and catering and inclusion of an employer profile in the national Chartered Accountants Employment Guide

  • Host a stand at the event.
