As part of the Practical Experience Program, the Institute conducts sample audits to ensure candidates are developing and recording suitable workplace competencies.

Randomly selected candidates will receive an email in the next few weeks asking them to participate in the audit. Their participation will require them to respond to the request within two weeks of the date of the email. Their response can be sent via email or post. All information received will be kept confidential and will only be used to audit the candidate’s progress in the Practical Experience Program.

The audit is part of the Institute's obligation as a member of the International Federation of Accounting (IFAC) to ensure that future members adhere to the practical experience requirements for membership. This includes monitoring the progress candidates are making with achieving the competencies in their Activity Log and maintaining quality membership standards.

The candidate will be notified of the outcome of the audit as soon as possible.
