The Institute has updated its free work experience kit to help employers run a successful high school program in their work place. Chartered Accountants Work Experience Kit: a guide for high school work experience programs includes:

• Planning and implementing the program
• Day one of work experience
• Suggested work experiences
• Ending positively on the last day
• Forms: confidentiality agreement, sample letter for saying 'no' positively, appraisal form and checklists.

In providing this support to employers the Institute is keen to help employers encourage high school students to understand the profession and to have the opportunity to experience what it means to be a Chartered Accountant.
