How to stay engaged with the student market, when times are tough

The tide has turned and now there are more candidates than ever on the jobs market but fewer jobs to go around. For employers or those in HR, the question is "How do we stay front of mind with university students, without the expectation of a job at the end of the conversation?"


To address this challenge, the Institute has developed a few initiatives to help strengthen your organisation’s brand awareness and remain in the top category of employers which students aspire to work for.

Online Employer Participation Guide

For employers already involved, this online portal has been a direct driver of potential recruits to organisations' careers website. It represents a great opportunity to showcase your organisation's profile to over 28,000 students registered via the Institute's website.

Profiles of participating employers are searchable by event and state. The profile will link to a Job Search profile or the organisation's careers website (if a Job Search profile is unavailable).

All you have to do to be featured on the online portal is sign up for any of the Institute's student recruitment programs and contact the relationship manager in your state.

A career as a Chartered Accountant is as varied as the people within it. Some go on to teach, some to run businesses, others work in important roles in the government.

Testimonials wanted

Recently hired a fantastic graduate/vacationer/cadet or achiever? Ask them to tell you in 50 words or less about their positive experience with your organisation and describe how The Institute's student recruitment programs helped them to achieve their goals.

Testimonials result in a win-win outcome and can be used in various marketing material, on the website and other promotional channels.
