There are three routes for your non-accounting graduates to take toward eligibility to do the Chartered Accountants Program.
Conversion courses: available from most Australian universities as a postgraduate program
Entrance exam: available for non-accounting graduates with extensive accounting experience, gained on the job, and with employer support. The entrance exam assesses a candidate’s readiness for the Program and identifies any further knowledge they may need
Graduate Certificate of Chartered Accounting Foundations: available from Deakin University as a part-time distance education course covering the core accounting knowledge areas. Successful completion of the course enables graduates to enrol in the Program.
