How do I apply for the taxation exemption?
You can apply for an exemption by completing an application form and returning it, together with your original academic transcript for the Taxation Institute's Applied Tax course or your postgraduate taxation course, as specified in Exemptions for Postgraduate Qualifications

You will be notified in writing of the outcome of your application for exemption.

Am I able to apply for more than one exemption in the Chartered Accountants Program?
No. The Chartered Accountants Program will only provide one exemption in the Program. If you hold CIMA membership as well as postgraduate taxation qualifications, you can select to receive an exemption from either "Management Accounting & Analysis" or "Taxation".

Please refer to the exemption application form for more details.

Is the Institute only offering exemptions for the "Taxation" module?
At this stage, we offer one exemption in the "Taxation" module for specified taxation postgraduate programs.

CIMA members who also hold postgraduate taxation qualifications may qualify for an exemption in either the "Management Accounting & Analysis" module or the "Taxation" module.
