What does the GradDipCA cover? The GradDipCA turns participants from a graduate to a technically competent, 'work ready' professional. The focus on technical content means that candidates will have the knowledge and the skills that the market and profession demands and values so greatly, as well as a high standard of technical expertise that will set them apart from other accounting professionals. In addition, candidates will have a solid understanding of all core areas of accounting, not just one specialised area. The GradDipCA consists of the following five modules:
- Audit & Assurance
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Management Accounting & Analysis
- Taxation
- Ethics and Business Application
The four technical modules, which can be completed in any order, provide candidates with a solid understanding of the core accounting areas and Ethics & Business Application, the final module of the GradDipCA, consolidates their learning from the technical modules and draws heavily on their work experience. Candidates will focus on applying what they've learned to solve real business problems. Back to top Overview of content Following is a brief description of the key content areas of each module.
