Master of Applied Tax

Graduates of the Institute's Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting can access up to 50% of subject exemptions in the Master of Applied Taxation offered by the University of NSW. 
 
In the Master of Applied Taxation program, students must complete 8 courses (48 units of credit). Four courses are compulsory and are completed through the Institute's Chartered Accountant's Program prior to enrolling in the Master of Applied Taxation. A further four courses are elective and completed through Atax. 
 
The duration of the program is 1 year part time: 4 Atax courses - 2 per session. 
 
This particular masters program has been specifically developed for graduates of the Institute's Chartered Accounting Program who have qualified for the Graduate Diploma (CA) award. Professional Year (PY) graduates who have completed at least three CA Program modules to qualify for the Grad Dip (CA) are also eligible for entry and exemptions in the Master of Applied Taxation.
