The Institute of Chartered Accountants' Public Practice Program (PPP) has been designed to guide your career path decisions as you go into practice and equip you with a range of tools, frameworks and business resources to maximise your potential and your future success as a partner or sole practitioner.

The PPP is a compulsory course for:

  • Members seeking a Certificate of Public Practice (CPP) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants; and
  • Professionals applying to the Institute of Chartered Accountants for affiliate membership status for the purpose of entering into partnership in a firm of Chartered Accountants.
Changes to CPPs will mean a reduction in administrative red tape for many members. However, some members who did not previously require a CPP will now have to apply for one.

Find out more about the changes to the Certificate of Public Practice requirements and whether or not you need to obtain a CPP.
