All Chartered Accountant Program candidates automatically belong to the ‘Candidate Society’, which has been developed to offer exclusive interpersonal, communication and technical skills training opportunities, networking and much much more.

Opportunities for your employees to explore

Some of the unique offers for candidates include:

  • A chance to connect and network with like-minded people who share your employees’ experiences and career aspirations through regular events such as cocktail evenings and an annual conference.
  • The very best study support help your employees prepare for their module exams, via CA Study Masterclass.
  • A new Candidate Benefits program with special offers on great products. Candidates also have access to the comprehensive Member Benefits Program with even more special offers, including credit cards, travel, electronics and gym membership. These offers are available only to candidates and members of the Institute.
  • All features are optional, and priced with candidates and employers in mind.

Events just for candidates

All events are held at suitable times to work around Program study commitments.

Networking events

With the launch now complete, each year the Institute will hold two networking evening events in most states, just for candidates.

They'll be able to mingle over a drink and discuss issues and topics important to them. they’ll also hear dynamic motivational speakers who will talk about their experiences.

The next set of networking events will be held in October/ November 2010.

Annual conference

Commencing in QLD in November 2010 and other states in 2011, this full day conference will be focused on topics identified by candidates as being important to them. The conference will include a mix of interpersonal and communication skills training (including negotiation, presentation skills and career development tips), and technical skills (such as business report writing and analysis tips). There’ll also be an additional networking evening.

Are there any costs involved?

There is no cost to belong to the Candidate Society.

There will be a nominal fee charged to attend the events. Details will be confirmed when candidates register to attend.
