This year, we’ve changed the boundaries of our highly successful Student Challenge. To give more students a chance to participate there will be two challenges, one for first year accounting students and another for second, third and fourth year students. Each Challenge has its unique rewards.
Students enter for a share of the $50,000 prize pool on offer including an all-expenses paid trip to London, travel vouchers and Power Lunches with highly sought-after employers.
It’s a great opportunity to apply what they’ve learnt at university to a real-life scenario.
What will students need to do?
Provide solutions for real-issues experienced by The Smith Family, and experience what it is like to be a Chartered Accountant. They can find a partner or enter solo. The question will be available from 9am Saturday, 1 May 2010.
However, for those who like to get in early, registrations (for both individuals and teams) are open now at studentchallenge.com.au

How can you help?
You have a few options.
1. Use the Student Challenge as an assessment task for your students.
We can provide you with the marking criteria once the competition closes in September.
2. Promote the competition during your lectures and on campus
Posters and flyers are available for you to hand out or to put up around campus. A one slide summary on the competition can also be provided for you to drop into your lecture/tutorial presentations.
For more information or additional posters/flyers, please email your request to:
