The Institute has joined the International Innovation Network (INN) to become Australia’s only representative on this global network of accounting institutes. With a membership comprised of 16 national accounting institutes in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, the INN was formed in 2002 to stimulate innovation and ensure quality in the products and services offered by and to their members.

The IIN’s mission is to provide:

  • Leadership in developing and sharing ideas for innovative products and services for the benefit of the global accounting profession; and
  • A vehicle for collaboration between members to develop and disseminate new products and services for use by professional accountants in public practice, industry and government.
  • The Institute’s representative to the IIN is Deputy CEO Elaine McFadzean, who will be presenting on the following topics at the next INN meeting in June.

    • Careers marketing strategy
    • Brand and advertising evolution
    • Business partner program
    • MINT Career Assessment Tool, and
    • Research findings on member needs and training and development.
