The Institute recognises outstanding service by a Chartered Accountant with the Meritorious Service Awards. These awards acknowledge excellence of service to the Institute, the profession or the broader community.  
 
The Meritorious Service Award can be presented at any time of the year, with individual award ceremonies organised by the recipient's Institute state office. 
 
Chartered Accountants can be nominated for a Meritorious Service Award using the nomination form. All nominees are sent to the member's Regional Council for consideration and to the Institute's Board for the final decision. Full details of the nomination process are provided on the nomination form.
