Active involvement with your Institute as a volunteer presents a great opportunity for all Chartered Accountants. This member organisation is built upon Chartered Accountants volunteering their time and expertise. 
 
The Institute recognises the diversity of its membership base and offers a wide range of opportunities for you to make your contribution to the profession. Member involvement is not likely to involve hours of monotonous meetings, but to be fast moving and stimulating with a finite time commitment.

How can I get involved?  
There are many opportunities available in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore for members with different experience levels. You could be asked to participate in: 
  • Focus Session - Leaders for Chartered Accountants Program modules
  •  
  • Discussion groups - as a participant or leader
  •  
  • Regional Council or National Board - it is seen as advisable for you to gain experience in task forces and working groups before moving on to stand for election.
