Event registrations

To ensure that your event materials and catering requirements are able to be provided at the event, please register by 5pm two working days prior to the event. Registrations can still be lodged after this time, however please note that in some cases event materials and/or catering cannot be guaranteed for last minute registrations. In these instances event materials will be forwarded to delegates after the event.

Payment

If you do not choose to register or purchase online, your cheque or credit card payment must accompany your registration or purchase form in order for it to be processed and confirmed. We are not able to process orders until payment has been received. Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Diners Club are accepted as well as cheques made payable to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. A dishonoured fee of $25 will be charged for each cheque that is not cleared or honoured by the bank or financial institution.

Discount Eligibility Details

Only one discount is applicable at a time – discount offers cannot be combined. Where you are eligible for more than one discount, the greatest discount will be applied to your registration.

All registrations with discount selections are subjected to an audit at a later date. Fraudulent selection of a discount or selecting a discount where eligibility cannot be proven will result in payment of the difference and may be referred to Professional Conduct.

The following eligibility rules apply to the specified discount type:

Regional discount – I currently work 125km from the event venue

Members working 125km from the event venue or interstate from the event are eligible for a 20% discount off the full member price. This does not include LiveOne live online training sessions.

NT/TAS regional discount – I currently work in the Northern Territory or Tasmania

Members whose primary place of work is currently in the Northern Territory or Tasmania and the event is not being held in their state are eligible for a 50% discount off the full member price. This does not include LiveOne live online training sessions.

Special interest group discount – I am a Forensic Accounting SIG subscriber

You must hold a current subscription to the Forensic Accounting Special Interest Group to be eligible for the advertised discount.

Special interest group discount – I am a Business Valuations SIG subscriber

You must hold a current subscription to the Business Valuations Special Interest Group to be eligible for the advertised discount.

Special interest group discount – I am a Financial Planning Chapter member

You must hold a current subscription to the Financial Planning Chapter to be eligible for the advertised discount.

Special interest group discount – I am an IT/XBRL SIG subscribe

You must hold a current subscription to the IT/XBRL Special Interest Group to be eligible for the advertised discount.

Confirmation

Confirmation of your registration or purchase with a record of your qualifying hours (if applicable) will be issued upon full payment. If a change should occur to the event in terms of venue or time, you will be notified by email or telephone.

Cancellation policy

Please advise us if you are unable to attend a Training & Development event.

When written notification is received five working days prior

  • Refunds will be issued
  • Replacement delegates will be accepted and the qualifying hours reallocated to the new delegate
  • Delegates are able to transfer to other events open for registration
  • Credit notes will not be issued.

Photography and filming consent for adults over 18 years of age

By registering to this event you agree that the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia may take photographs and film footage of you at the above event, and may use the photographs and/or film footage for the Institute’s promotional and/or commercial purposes, including for use on the Institute’s website. You agree that filmed material may be reproduced for those purposes, as film, audio or written quotation.

The photographs and footage will be used by the Institute only and will not be released to any external parties. You accept the risk, that photographs and/or film footage of you may be lifted off the Institute’s website, or taken from an Institute brochure or other publication, and reproduced on Facebook or other web sites or elsewhere, or otherwise communicated or made available to the public or sections of the public.
