About Migration Assessment
Migration assessment is the evaluation of qualifications in accounting for the purposes of migration to Australia.
To be eligible to migrate to Australia, you must have qualifications assessed as at least comparable to the level of an Australian bachelor degree and provide evidence of a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of Band 7 on each of the four components - speaking, reading, listening and writing.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants (the Institute) has been authorised by the Australian Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC) to execute skills assessments for the following occupations:
- Accountant (General) - ANZSCO 221111
- Management Accountant - ANZSCO 221112
- Taxation Accountant - ANZSCO 221113
- External Auditor - ANZSCO 221213
- Finance Manager - ANZSCO 132211
- Corporate Treasurer - ANZSCO 221212
