The Institute announces Penny Ellenger as new General Manager Queensland
The Queensland office of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia has undergone a change in leadership, with Penny Ellenger succeeding Simon Grant as General Manager.
In her new role, Penny will continue to support and represent Institute members and Chartered Accountant Program candidates throughout Queensland. Supported by her team in Brisbane and in regional centres throughout the State, she is responsible for the ongoing management of Queensland operations, member advisory panels and Council, delivery of member services and events, as well as building strong stakeholder relationships and adding value to Institute members.
Penny has been with the Institute since 2005 during which time she has been working closely with members in a Client Relationship Manager role. In addition to this, Penny has more than 20 years professional experience gained through working in a variety of roles in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Simon Grant remains with the Institute and has been promoted to General Manager Members responsible for the State and Territories offices as well as overseeing the Sales and Marketing functions of the Institute.
