Beginning his commercial experience with two multinational companies he became a lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology. Since the early 1980’s he has utilised his skills within the public practice area of accounting, specifically in the area of making companies achieve their potential.

Michael has in excess of 30 years’ experience as a registered company auditor and an extensive understanding of quality control systems and processes, auditing standards and financial reporting.

  Associate Professor - Department of Accounting and Business Information Systems at The University of Melbourne

  Paul Coram is an Associate Professor. He originally worked as an auditor and became a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in Adelaide, also gaining work experience as an auditor in London. Paul has postgraduate qualifications in education and has lectured at the University of South Australia and the University of Western Australia.

  Mark Davies has over 20 years experience in both the professional and public sectors.  He commenced his accounting career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1988 holding a range of senior positions over an 11 year career including Senior Audit Manager - Business Assurance Services and Principal Consultant - Public Sector Group.  In 1999 he joined Darebin City Council where he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and General Manager Corporate Services over a 9 year period. In 2008 he was appointed to his current position of Chief Executive Officer at the Surf Coast Shire.

• Bill Edge FCA

  Bill Edge is a partner with PwC and is the National and Australasian Leader of the firm's Risk & Quality function. Bill was Chairman of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board from 2004 to 2006 . He also spent 10 years in academe at RMIT University and Monash University, at which time he completed an MBA. He was awarded 'Governance Professional of the Year' by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Australia in 2007 and was awarded a 'Meritorious Service Award ' by the Institute in 2008.

  Julia has worked in professional services for almost 20 years and with Ernst & Young for eight years. She provides risk advisory services to a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors.

  Her current focus is on providing risk and governance services to the Victorian Government departments and agencies, including not for profit organisations. She has previously provided similar risk services to global organisations such as Foster’s Group, BHPBilliton and Cadbury Schweppes.

David has technology, secretarial, and finance qualifications, and extensive experience with small and medium businesses.
