    Mr Crane was elected to Vice Chair in 2011 and elected to Chair in 2012. Mr Crane was elected to Council in 2003. He was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1991 and advanced to fellowship in 2008.

    He has been a Partner at KPMG, Brisbane office since 1999 and specialised in the mining and exploration industry for the last 15 years.  He has been appointed to head KPMG Australia’s Mining Group in Australia.

    Mrs Grundy was elected to Vice Chair in 2012 and elected to Council in December 2008. She was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1991 and advanced to fellowship in 2008.

    She is a Partner at Ernst & Young and is a specialist in corporate taxation. With over 27 years of experience in direct taxation issues relating to property and construction, manufacturing and distribution, private equity, mining services/engineering and retail, she provides expert advice on corporate tax, tax structuring, and tax planning.

  • Kaylene Gaffney CA

    Ms Gaffney was elected to Council in February 2012. She was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1993.

    She is currently the General Manager, Financial Accounting for Virgin Australia Holdings Limited. She is also an Independent Director for Wotif.com and a member of its Audit and Risk Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Kaylene is actively involved in the CA Program.

    Mr O'Regan was elected to Council in December 2011. He was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1979 and advanced to fellowship in 2011.

    Dr Walker was elected to Council in December 2007. She was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1995.

  • Adam Dierselhuis CA

    Mr Dierselhuis was elected to Council in April 2008. He was admitted to membership of the Institute in December 2004.

    Adam is a partner at O’Connells OBM, a specialist tax and business advisory firm. He joined O’Connells OBM after year 12 at school and progressed into partnership 8 ½ years later – making him one of the youngest partners in Brisbane at the time.  Adam plays an active role in promoting careers in accounting and educating the graduate market through participation on the QUT School of Accounting Advisory Committee, the Institute’s Careers Marking Panel and involvement at numerous guest lectures at QUT, UQ and Griffith Universities.

    Ms Swindon was elected to Council in July 2009. She was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1990 and advanced to fellowship in 2008.

    Mr Kerr was elected to Council in 2010. He was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1981.

    He has been based in Brisbane since February 1999. As General Manager, Queensland, he was responsible for the permanent, contract and Talent Management businesses for four years; he originally joined Hudson (formerly Morgan & Banks) in 1995 in Melbourne.  Since 2003, Charles has led the senior executive portfolio in his capacity as Principal Consultant. He has over twenty years experience in the recruitment industry in Australia.

    Mr Popham was elected to Council in February 2011. He was admitted to membership of the Institute in 1997 and advanced to fellowship in 2007.

    He is on the Board of Directors of Moore Stephens (Queensland) Ltd, and is the Business Services Principal in the Townsville office. He joined the firm in 1992 and has over 19 years’ experience in taxation and business services in the North Queensland region. He is an Executive of the Townsville Chamber of Commerce.
