Institute committees and discussion groups

The Institute’s Reporting and Assurance team coordinate two discussion groups to assist them in learning about implementation issues associated with new financial reporting standards, law requirements or other reporting initiatives. One is called the ‘Research Group’ and links together various practitioners in technical departments across Sydney. The Research Group in Sydney meets every two months. The other group is called the Sydney Corporate Reporting Discussion Group, with topics chosen that are predominantly relevant to members in business.
