Public Practice Program pre-requisite to obtaining a CPP

CPP applicants are required to undertake the Public Practice Program before commencing practice, unless they are applying for a CPP at the concessional nil rate.

Where no course is available prior to commencement of practice and a CPP applicant has registered for the Public Practice Program (PPP), a CPP may be approved on condition that the PPP is completed within 6 months.

Where a CPP applicant has held an Institute CPP within the previous 5 years they are not required to undertake the PPP again.
