Attend an orientation session

During the weeks prior to the commencement of each term, orientation sessions are offered in most states/territories for candidates who have enrolled in the module. While not mandatory, these sessions are highly recommended as you can meet your fellow candidates and gain an overview of the GradDipCA.

The objectives of the orientation session are to:

  • assist you to plan your progression through the GradDipCA and become a Chartered Accountant, provide advice and study hints from the experts
  • provide you with insight into the learning strategies and resources, including print and CD materials, myCA learning portal, and face-to-face focus sessions
  • advise you how the Chartered Accountants Program modules are assessed
  • inform you about contact details for assistance throughout the Chartered Accountants Program.

Orientation sessions details are available following late enrolment close.

If you are unable to attend a face-to-face orientation session an audio and a PowerPoint version are provided on myCA at module commencement.

Your Candidate Learning Pack (CLP) will be sent by mail or courier to your business street address. If you have been approved for out of service and therefore not in current employment the CLP will be sent to your home address as shown on your personal profile on the 'My Home' page of this site.
