In May 2005, a postal ballot of Institute members was held which approved a voting procedure to permit electronic voting. To participate online in upcoming Regional Council and/or Board elections in your State, members must have provided the Institute with their current email address.  
 
Where an election ballot is to be undertaken in a Region members will receive an email from the Institute advising them when the ballot is open for on-line voting. Other members without email access will continue to receive postal voting papers.
