Employment Evening

The Chartered Accountants Employment Evening is every employers dream event to source quality and ambitious final year accounting students who are looking for a great start to their careers.

How it works
Using a range of on-campus and online promotional activities, the Institute brings together hundreds of final year accounting students from a range of campuses. The Employment Evening is an accounting-focussed ‘careers fair’ where you can directly promote your organisation and graduate program to intelligent and interested accounting students.

Benefits for your organisation

  • You can promote your organisation to smart, motivated final year accounting students in a forum devoted to just one purpose: connecting employers and students

  • You meet face-to-face, answering – and asking – the important questions and getting to know potential recruits in a friendly environment

  • It’s a simple, cost-efficient way to meet large numbers of targeted potential recruits

  • You increase your profile in a highly targeted section of the student population.

  • An opportunity to be involved in and present at the information sessions.
And you don’t just meet the students. You also get:
  • Exhibition space at the event

  • Your logo on promotional collateral

  • Inclusion in the Employers’ section of the Employment Guide displaying an invaluable summary of available accounting graduate positions with a features profile of recruiting organisations

  • Inclusion in the Institute’ student e-bulletin (a quarterly publication to members) in addition to an additional supplemented e-bulletin designed only to promote the event and employer participation.
Your involvement
To participate in the Employment Evening all you need to do is:
  • Offer at least one graduate position

  • Pay a participation fee which covers venue costs and catering

  • Host a stand at the event.
When is it held?

Employment Evenings are held nationally in March each year. Please register your interest for the 2008 event in your state.
